The Black Diamond Super 8 is an anodized, super-light and full-size figure 8 that works extremely well when rappelling.

The superior qualities of drop-forged 7075-T6 aluminum alloy and great design give the Super 8 lightness and strength. The shape allows the rope to smoothly flow with the right amount of friction for the task.

The Super 8’s design uses thinner diameters on the ends and thicker diameters towards the middle, making it light, durable and functional. The small hole can be used for belaying with 8.5 mm to single 11 mm ropes. In its traditional role, it provides a smooth efficient means of rappelling.
