UPPER
• Seamsmart Synthetic and Mesh Upper
END Seamsmart upper construction utilizes cutting-edge fabric technology and a merciless design process that eliminates all unnecessary parts and materials. The resulting focus on patterning, innovative use of textiles in place of molded plastic and the elimination of rigid heel counters obviates the need for excess foam to create fit. Seamsmart uppers mimic the shape of your foot in areas critical for mating the foot to the midsole platform. The resulting fit is precise without feeling confined, allowing your feet to flex where they are supposed to, and providing support where they need it.

Trail Radius Regrind Outsole
The Trail Radius outsole is built from a blend of recycled and virgin Carbon Rubber which has just the right balance of sticky versus hardness which provides great smearing traction on hard surfaces and superb 'cut' on soft trails. The hardness and abrasion resistance of the Carbon Rubber also produce a durable and stable platform for situations that tread the extreme edges of outside travel.

EVO Biosmart Midsole
The soul of all of our shoes. With a combination of recycled and virgin EVA, the END EVO Biosmart midsole was distilled from a combination of science, medical research and years of footwear building experience to provide the right combination of cushioning, support, and freedom for the foot. A roomy forefoot width, precise medial support, lateral containment and outstanding heel capture are all synched to ride heights optimized for a low center of gravity. Precision, freedom, comfort are all hallmarks of the END EVO Biosmart midsole.

Co-Molded Protection Plate
Providing protection and torsional stability, our midsole protection plate lives between the outsole and midsole of all END trail shoes. Simplicity is often so obvious it hides in plain sight: Sheet-stock ESS is cut and placed into the mold before loading the EVA used in forming the END EVO Biosmart midsole. Once the EVA is co-molded with the ESS, a molecular bond is formed between the two materials, eliminating the need for an additional mold.
