Description   Grivel decided that a backpacks weight must lie in its contents and not in the pack itself. The Grivel Air Tech 28 is just 14.5 ounces in Nylon Ripstop in the Grivel exclusive black and yellow. All frills have been removed to reduce weight and bulk. Minimalist features include a zippered top pocket, internal sleeve to hold the removeable foam pad, and an ice axe attachment point. The Air Tech 28 can be folded away into its top pocket and only reappear when it's needed. Shoulder straps are curved for comfort. Ultralight waist belt is 3/4 inch webbing with a quick release buckle. The weight or lack thereof will be much appreciated where the air is thin and every ounce feels like a pound. Despite its non-technical appearance the Air Tech Pack has been used on big new routes in Alaska, Peru and Pakistan. The Air Tech 28 makes a great summit pack!
