The box construction eliminates cold spots, while encouraging the down to loft. Micro fiber fleece lines the collar. Two zippered hand pockets keep your hands nice and warm. Inside chest pocket provides a place to keep items from freezing in sub-freezing tempertures.
The shell and lining are made of 30-denier Ballist ripstop nylon that is incredibly soft, light and wind resistant. Stretch nylon binding keeps the arm cuffs closed to cold air. Full length zipper with wind shield gives you the versatility you need.

Ballistic™ nylon is one and a half times more abrasion resistant than other similar weight fabrics and boasts three times the tear strength of nylons that are almost 20% heavier. Because of this, Ballistic™ nylons have allowed Montbell to reduce the weight of many of their products by more than 50% without sacrificing durability. This strength comes from the manufacturing process where the nylon is repeatedly heated and stretched to align the molecules, much like the tensilizing of steel, resulting in an extremely durable, light weight, wind and water resistant fabric.
