Description Sizing Chart   This are the pants to have for really cold conditions! Only 10 ounces, insulates when wet and are wind and water resistant! The Montbell Ultralight Thermawrap Pants are truly amazing! Conceal side zips go all the way to the hip for easy on and off, even over boots. Two zippered hand warmer pockets have ultralight zipper pulls for use with gloves. Fly is zippered as well for convenience. Both waist and ankles have snap closures to make sure they stay closed. Elastic waist has a drawcord for additional comfort and versatile fit. Exceloft synthetic insulation acts like down, providing the best combination of insulation, lofting, durability and compressibility. Exceloft retains heat and maintains its lofting properties 10-20% better than other leading synthetic insulations. Unlike down, Exceloft retains 80% of its insulation value when wet! Exceloft absorbs less that 1% of the water that it comes in contact with, making it highly resistant to saturation and extremely fast drying. Everyone that picks these pants up are shocked by how light and soft they are. They compresses down to the size of a one liter bottle and come with a stuff sack that weighs 9 grams. This is a favorite among the our staff. The shell is made out of Ballist Airlight ripstop nylon that is incredibly soft, light and highly wind resistant. Exceloft™ - Montbell's Exceloft™ insulation uses 8-denier polyester threads as a structure to intertwine with extra thin 0.7-denier threads that add more air pockets and resilience. Ultra Light & Ultra Warm September 3, 2006 Reviewer: Michael (GearZone.com Tester) from Utah, United States   If you are looking for some lightweight outdoor pants to keep you warm, the Montbell UL Thermawrap Pants are hard to beat. For only 10 ounces, these pants are incredibly warm, cut the wind and deal well with moisture. When I first started using them I was scared that the lightweight material wouldn’t be very durable. So far I haven’t put any holes in them and I haven’t been easy on them. They are comfortable, warm and super light…everything that I am looking for in a winter outdoor or mountaineering pant.
