The shell is made out of 15-denier Ballist Airlight ripstop nylon that is incredibly soft, light and highly wind resistant. Stretch nylon binding cuffs and full length coil zipper seal out cold air. Insulated hood reduces heat loss. Hand warmer pockets add comfort. Single-quilt construction reduces weight. DWR finish resists rain and snow.
