Description   The Panaracer Fire XC Pro design offers excellent traction and cornering in just about any terrain without the penalty of high rolling resistance or soft fast wearing tread compounds. Recipient of Bicycling Magazine's 2004 "Editors' Choice" award for "Best all-mountain tire". The Torch tread design offers multi-height hard compound knobs for performance on hard and soft terrain. The Burning Edge side knob pattern serves up predictable cornering even at hard angles. ASB (Anti-Snake Bite) chamfer protects against pinch flats. Adaptable to front or rear use by changing tire direction. Ultralight Aramid folding bead. Super-quality from Japan. Very light for a 2.1" (52mm) wide tire. Color strip on sidewall made of Silica compound for added durability. This is the true, made in Japan top-quality 127 TPI Fire XC Pro. Watch out for inferior, 66 TPI Taiwan versions of this tire which are heavier and wear quicker.
