Description   The Salomon Raid Revo 30 achieves a new record weight of 1 lb 6 oz for a 31 liter backpack, yet remains comfortable and full featured. The new Airwing waistbelt has thicker padding for more comfort and stability. Large zippered pockets are built into each side of the waistbelt. The waistbelt also has a carabiner loop on each side. S-shaped shoulder straps are comfortable and lightly padded. Adjustable sternum strap moves up or down 5 inches. 3 Airvent foam pads protect your back. The Airvent system allows crucial ventilation. Compression straps enable you to adjust the volume to perfectly fit the contents of your pack. Three large mesh pockets around the body of the pack provide quick access to gear. The middle pocket doubles as a helmet carrier and has reflective strips. Two daisy chains allow other gear to be quickly attached. A tow loop on the rear is easy to clip to. On the lid of the pack are two zippered pockets to further organize your gear, one pocket is on the outside and the other pocket is under the lid. Inside the backpack are a bladder sleeve, hose port, organizer mesh pocket and water drainage ports. Material is water resistant. The Salomon Raid Revo 30 pack works great for hiking, mountain biking, mountaineering, snowshoeing and even running. Ultralight & Refined September 3, 2006 Reviewer: Michael (GearZone.com Tester) from Utah, United States   I’ve used the Raid Revo 30 for countless hours of training, light overnight backpacking and expedition adventure racing. Out of the many packs I’ve tested, I still choose the Raid Revo for my personal expedition racing pack. Its combination of features and being ultralight are tough to beat. It is a very comfortable pack for me if I don’t overload it. About 20 pounds is its comfort limit. It will carry more, but doesn’t like it. I really like the waist belt, hip pockets and simple design. Everything is laid out really well. Was this review helpful to you?
