Running Contagrip outsole provides a great combination of traction and stability, with excellent grip on mixed terrain, reliable braking lugs with a multidirectional design. Triple density midsole offers pronation control.

Quick drying breathable mesh uppers keep your feet comfortable. Quicklace™ one-pull lacing system takes just one pull for a precise fit across the instep. SensiFit system works to cradle the foot providing a precise and secure fit.

Ortholite™ footbeds provides step in comfort and enhanced durability by using a combination of special PU and rubber crumbs. Ortholite™ footbeds use an anti-microbial treatment for reducing odor.

Want to shred trails: this is the shoe you buy!	September 7, 2011

I know what you’re thinking to expensive; I can get a cheaper pair that is just as good: WRONG! Don’t settle for anything less. If you’re a committed racer or just love running trail, save your money, beg your wife, ebay your old stuff, do whatever takes, you won’t be sorry. I have the 3 series in this shoe, which it’s basically the same shoe outside of some cosmetic differences and this is a step above the competition, and worth every penny. The truth is there are a lot of great shoes out there: saucony, montrail, merrell, and the north face. Believe me, I’ve done my research. I wanted a light shoe that was ultra durable against any trail surface, and that rode like a cadillac, and that fit right to size. Needless to say, I’m not disappointed. If you run long trail, or short technical off shoots, it doesn’t matter. This shoe gets the job done! And, gear zone got them delivered in three days. Hats off to Salomon for another great product!
