I am a wool sock person. Smartwool socks with merino wool just make my feet feel better. I get less hot spots and my feet feel drier with merino wool. The Smartwool Adrenaline Mini Crew is currently my favorite sock for adventure racing, trail run, mountain biking and hiking. It has the right combination of cushioning, temperature regulation and height to it for the above activities. I also wear them everyday to the office. That is until I run out of clean socks, then I might have to wear something else. Find out what type of socks work for you, wool or synthetic. If you are a merino wool person, I would highly recommend the Adrenaline Mini Crew. I have used a single pair for 36 hours straight with no blisters and my feet felt comfortable the entire time.
