Suunto t6 measures the time interval between two heartbeats in milliseconds. Suunto Training Manager software uses this data to analyze the effect of your training and to calculate several other body parameters such as EPOC, respiratory rate and energy expenditure.
By relating this information to your current fitness level and factors such as your age, gender, weight and height the software also calculates the intensity and duration of training needed to improve your condition.
During your training, Suunto t6 helps you keep on track by offering control functions such as heart rate limits, real time average heart rate and customizable stopwatch display. The software tells you the heart rate and duration needed to reach your individual goals.
