The North Face Spectrum 23 is an extremely stable, single-walled ultralight tent for two people.
DAC reverse-combi aluminum pole system and two Nano-knuckles provide great stability in wind and adverse weather. Freestanding design with pull-out vestibule and fusion pitch with new ultralight Microclip makes for fast and easy setup. Fully seam-sealed canopy and ultralight floor keep rain and snow out.
High-low venting with overhead vents with zip closure keep moisture from building up, yet keep the elements from coming in. D-shaped door is easy to get in and out of, and reduces dirt from tracking in. Color-coded poles, reflective guylines and zipper cording make setup easier even in the dark.
Fast and light adventures make real demands on the choice of shelter: The speed of travel demands the lightest weight possible, yet the areas of travel often require the ability to withstand extreme weather conditions. With precisely these demands in mind, The North Face has created Flight Series tents. Single-walled construction with fully taped seams and durable waterproof fabrics. Wind-tunnel testing of these tents demonstrates that they are capable of withstanding winds of 130 mph, more than any other tent of similar size and weight.
The basic single-walled tent design has been enhanced, dramatically improving its ventilation capability. An aluminum Nano-knuckle on the top cross pole allows venting on top of the tent. This zip-closable overhead vent, in combination with the lower perimeter venting allows for strong, cross-tent ventilation, and still keeps the elements at bay.
