The UL Spiral Down Hugger bags offers 800-fill down and spiral cut fabric for some stretch. The UL Spiral bags are Montbell’s lightest sleeping bags. The #1 model won the Backpacker Magazine 2009 Editors’ Choice award. The UL Super Spiral Down Hugger offers more stretch than the UL Spiral bags, with patented elastic stitching. These bags are filled with 800-fill down, and use ultralight fabrics. Super Spiral Down Down Hugger bags are heavier, but more affordable than the UL (ultralight) version. These sleeping bags use 650-Fill down. The fabric is slightly heavier than the UL version. Super Spiral Burrow Bags use Montbell’s synthetic Exceloft insulation that works better in a wet environment. Exceloft insulates when wet and absorbs very little moisture.
