The Grivel Matrix Tech Ice Axe is ideal for climbers who prefer the reduced weight and easy handling of an extremely technical tool that retains all the characteristics of a Grivel ice axe. Only 19.9 ounces!

Chromoly steel head is hot forged so the internal microstructure can be oriented to improve strength, and internal defects or porosity are minimized.

The shaft has a double angulation increasing the head’s opening and helping the wrist when in traction.

Very efficient hand support with a little point in Tungsten Carbide for safety. The Trigger can be fitted to distribute weight onto all fingers. Compatible with the Grivel Tech Leash.
